J’adore Expressions of Love
So, the opening of Expressions of Love last night was a tremendous success with over 100 people coming to view C3 Stockport’s beautiful photography exhibition.
For those of you who don’t know, C3 is a network of creative activity groups with a Christian community, a church at its heart. C3 is a Christian community, which aims to bring people from all walks of life together in creative activity.
Visitors were welcomed to the Gallery with wine, fizz and lots of tasty treats. If that wasn’t enough of a feast then the artwork certainly was. Numerous beautiful and bold photographic prints hung from the pristine white walls in simple black and silver frames.
This exhibition had an awesome twist, with DJ Fat Roland playing an amazing mix up of electronica. DJ Fat Roland is a Manchester writer, DJ and man about town. He writes about electronica and mixes a mean beat. If you liked what you heard last night then visit his website.
Back to the photography, there are some stunning 5x7” prints still available for purchase. At £1 a pop they’ll soon be snapped up, forgive then pun.
The exhibition will be open until the 28th Feb, so come down and see these beautiful photographs. By the way, if you do come down, then feel free to sign our heart covered visitors book and let us know what you think of the exhibition.
Also, for all those who won’t be spending Valentines day in some romantic little corner then pop up to the Upper Ground, where C3 will be hosting Love in the Afternoon. It’ll be an afternoon of activities for all the family with tea and St Valentine’s themed cakes. Sunday the 14th February, 12-4pm.
