Our Gallery in the Open Studios on the Upper Ground Floor of Broadstone Mill is pleased to be hosting C3 Stockport's Expressions of Love Photography Exhibition.

Love is the greatest and grandest of subjects. Love drives us, controls us, it’s our passion, our obsession. Love can lift us up where we belong or it can tear us apart. Yet love is ordinary, mundane even. It’s found in the slightest of smiles, the smallest of thoughtful gestures. It hovers in the background of our lives, it’s shown in every meal prepared and school shirt ironed. It’s in every gift created with care. It’s in our work when we love what we do. It’s in the places and faces we know.

The C3 Stockport photography group have compiled images that mean love to them for this exhibition. It’s the first time the group will have exhibited and they’ll be showing a combination of their favourite photographs and images taken especially for the exhibition on the theme of love. How many expressions of love can you find in their work?
